ASPROGUATE begins in 2014 lead by group of organized producers located in Coban, Acatenango & Chimaltenango regions with the purpose to market quality coffees using fully organic practices. One hundred producers were aligned to create the association.
Soon, other producers in nearby areas heard about the project's success and joined the exponential growth of the association. In 2016, offices in San Martin Jilotepeque were opened to centralize the operation.
The association believes in empowering women and also invest heavily in development programs like organic, environment and social practices.
